Performing Hip Hop Dance

Performing hip hop dance to an audience can open you up to a whole new world of experience. For many people this is the most satisfying part of hip hop they participate in.

This is not the goal of everyone, however for many people dancing on stage or with an audience is such a high and thrill that they need their fix of it.

There is something about performing on stage that brings out the best in many people. The rapport with the audience, the support and the clapping are definitely appreciated!

The Stage Is Your Friend

A lot of work goes into preparing dance performances on the stage. Many hours, days and rehearsals and sometimes just to perform 5 or 10 minutes worth of material.

The performance is the end of all that hard work, everything that hard work has been preparing for and this is what can make it such a great feeling.

It can be a great release when you finally get to show an audience what you've been working towards, and also to let the sweat finally fly after all that rehearsal time.

For the people that develop a taste for performing, it's a thrill that they cannot get from anything else.

There may be some nervousness prior to the performance, but once out on stage they kind of have to forget that all and let the adrenaline take over.

To perform requires a degree of proficiency. Having said that there are many amateur dance crews and stage shows/ showcases for amateurs and non-professionals.

Whatever level the dancer is, it usually requires a similar sort of preparation with regular practice and lots of rehearsals to take care of.

So anyone wanting to get into this side of things needs to be committed to it, and ready to devote the amount of time necessary to prepare a performance for the stage.
